KCET 2020: Exam date, application form and pattern

KCET 2020 had been released and it will be conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).It is the common entrance test for getting admission in to the Bachelor of technology (B.tech).with this exam the candidate should enter in to the various engineering colleges in the Karnataka state. KCET Exam dates 2020:-

Application form of KCET 2020:-

Candidates can avoid the errors by filling the application in the correct manner by reading the below article

The authority will release its application through the online mode only

Candidates should fill their application in the online mode by filling their basic information

The application will be available in the online from 4th week of Jan 2020

Candidate should fill their application before first week of March

After filling the details and registration id and password should sent to the registered phone number

Candidates should upload their scanned documents such as sign and photograph in the jpg/jpeg format

The application will be completed after the fee payment after that take the printed copy of the application and saved it for future use.

Application fee for KCET 2020:-

The candidates should know the fee before to pay the fee and it will be available both on online mode and offline mode. In offline mode the demand draft should be taken in the favor of executive director of Karnataka and it will be sent to the given address.

GM, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B candidates of Karnataka origin: Rs. 500/-

SC/ST Category-1 & female of Karnataka candidates only: Rs.250/-

Candidates residing outside the state of Karnataka: Rs.750/-

Candidates residing outside India: Rs. 5, 000/-

Eligibility criteria:-

The eligibility criteria should be compulsory for the candidate before we can apply to any notification

The first thing that he should be belong to Indian and he should be produce certificates at the time of Counseling.

Academic qualification:-

MBBS/BDS/Ayush courses Passed 12th/2nd PUC with English as one of the language subject and obtaining 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for reserve category candidates)
B.Arch Passed 12th/2nd PUC with Mathematics as one of the compulsory optional subject and obtaining 50% aggregate marks in all subjects (45% for reserve category candidates)
B.Tech/B.E Passed 12th/2nd PUC with English as one of the language subject and obtaining 45% aggregate marks in Physics & Mathematics along with Chemistry/Bio-technology/Biology/Electronic/Computer (40% for reserve category candidates)
B.V.Sc & A.H Passed 12th/2nd PUC with obtaining 50% aggregate marks in PCB & English (40% for reserve category candidates)
B.Pharma Passed in 2nd PUC/12th with PCB or PCM and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects (40% for reserve category candidates)
OR
Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by PCI and secured minimum of 45% marks (40% for category candidates)

Exam pattern of KCET 2020:-

The exam will be held through the onlin emode only.

The duartion will be 80min for each paper

Each paper will have a maximum marks of 60 and the total will be 180 marks.

The questions wil be asked in the MCQ’s

Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative mark.
